Hi Jenny,
I know exactly what you mean. I left there feeling very ripped off. I got rid of my Peugeot recently and it is unlikely that I will ever buy another one, sadly. I loved the car, but the service centres create an extremely bad name for the brand.
Good luck!
Regards,
John

Hi John,

I am so glad I came across your site and what you had written about Peugeot. Well, 2 years later and the Northcliff branch is still as S... as ever. The only nice person in the service department was William but he has left now. I find them so racist, trust me I am not the only one saying this. I took my car to fix the radiator which should go hand in hand with the water pump but they did not even tell me that the water pump was broken, I discovered it the very next day when all the water was lying on the garage floor! I drove back there immediately and was told by the service manager that I must leave my car there and they would fix it, and it was going to cost me a further R2700, when I had already paid R3500 for the radiator. This was ludicrous when they should have spotted the problem in the first place. In the end I went to a friend who is a mechanic for Peugeot and all I paid for was the water pump which he bought from Peugeot and guess the price R500.
But I must say that the Northcliff branch is the worse and the staff are very unwilling to help, I cannot understand why Peugeot head office does not look into all these complaints.

Hi Teologia,
Sorry it has taken me so long to approve. Your logon settings are normally set in the service configuration. You should find the service in SICF. I am not a services guru, so you need to find someone who is.

Another option is to get the wsdl out of transaction SOAMANAGER, try that? You should be able to do that without logging in.
Regards,
John

[...] The ABAP assert statement can be used for “glass box” testing. If you can’t run your program in foreground and debug or you want statistics about how often a specific scenario takes place, this is very useful. Check it out here. [...]
